13If we are not trustworthy, He remains trustworthy, it is impossible for Him to deny Himself.
14Remind them of this, earnestly witnessing before the Master, not to wage verbal battles – which is useless – to the overthrowing of the hearers.
15Do your utmost to present yourself approved to Elohim, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly handling the Word of Truth.
16But keep away from profane, empty babblings, for they go on to more wickedness,
17and their word shall eat its way like gangrene. Humenaios and Philetos are of this sort,
18who have missed the goal concerning the truth, saying that the resurrection has already taken place, and overthrow the belief of some. 2 TIMOTHY 2:13-18 Institute for Scripture Research – ISR
13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.
14 Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.
15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
17 And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;
18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some. 2 TIMOTHY 2:13-18 King James Version - KJV
13 If we believe not, yet abideth he faithful: he cannot deny himself.
14 Of these things put them in remembrance, and protest before the Lord, that they strive not about words, which is to no profit, but to the perverting of the hearers.
15 Study to show thyself approved unto God a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, dividing the word of truth aright.
16 Stay profane, and vain babblings: for they shall increase unto more ungodliness.
17 And their word shall fret as a canker: of which sort is Hymenaeus and Philters.
18 Which as concerning the truth have erred from the mark, saying that the resurrection is past already, and do destroy the faith of certain. 2 TIMOTHY 2:13-18 Geneva Bible 1599 – GNV
May Yah bless and keep you ALL safely abiding under the Shadows of His Mighty Wings. If you have not yet repented, I ask that you repent immediately. Turn to our Heavenly Father through His Beloved Son Yahusha Messiah (Jesus Christ). Please consider doing this immediately, for as we know the world is soon coming to a close. It is during this time that we will need Yah's full divine protection for what is to be unveiled. I believe that it was through obedience that Noah had such great faith; this in essence was what saved him and his family from the flood. As a follower of the Holy Messiah (born again Believer; a former Roman Catholic of 46+ years) there is so much to gain in doing so. My soul is richly blessed by the gems of truth revealed to me by my beloved Heavenly Father, Abba, and I have no regrets repenting of my past ways. Blessings! ~ Judy Velez
1Shout for joy in יהוה, you righteous! Praise is fitting for the straight!
2Praise יהוה with the lyre; Sing to Him with an instrument of ten strings.
3Sing to Him a new song; Play sweetly with a shout of joy.
4For the Word of יהוה is straight, And all His works are in truth,
5Loving righteousness and right-ruling; The earth is filled with the kindness of יהוה.
6By the Worda of יהוה the heavens were made, And all their host by the Spiritb of His mouth,
7Gathering the waters of the sea together as a heap; Laying up the deep in storehouses.
8Let all the earth fear יהוה; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.
9For He spoke, and it came to be; He commanded, and it stood fast.
10יהוה brings the counsel of the nations to naught; He thwarts the plans of the peoples.
11The counsel of יהוה stands forever, The plans of His heart to all generations.
12Blessed is the nation whose Elohim is יהוה, The people whom He has chosen as His own inheritance.
13יהוה has looked from the heavens; He has seen all the sons of men.
14He looked from His dwelling place On all the inhabitants of the earth –
15He who fashions the hearts of them all, He who understands all their works.
16The sovereign is not saved by the multitude of an army; A mighty man is not delivered by great strength.
17A horse is a vain means of safety; Neither does it rescue any by its great power.
18See, the eye of יהוה is on those fearing Him, On those waiting for His kindness,
19To deliver their being from death, And to keep them alive during scarcity of food.
20Our being has longed for יהוה; Our help and our shield is He.
21For our heart does rejoice in Him, For we have put our trust in His set-apart Name.
22Let Your kindness, O יהוה, be upon us, Even as we wait for You. PSALM 33 Institute for Scripture Research – ISR
Y'va-re-che-cha Yahuah V'yish-mire-cha. Ya'er Yahuah panav elei-cha vihu-necha. Yi-sah Yahuah panav elei-cha, V'ya-sem l'cha shalom!
May Abba Yahuah Bless you and guard you. May the light of EL Shaddai shine upon you, and may Abba Yahuah be gracious to you. May the presence of Elohim be with you and give you peace! - Judy
