1Having put aside, then, all evil, and all deceit, and hypocrisies, and envyings, and all evil words,
2as newborn babes, desire the unadulterated milk of the Word, in order that you grow by it,
3if indeed you have tasted that the Master is good.
4Drawing near to Him, a living Stone – rejected indeed by men, but chosen by Elohim and precious –
5you also, as living stones, are being built up, a spiritual house, a set-apart priesthood, to offer up spiritual slaughter offerings acceptable to Elohim through יהושע Messiah.
6Because it is contained in the Scripture, “See, I lay in Tsiyon a chief corner-stone, chosen, precious, and he who believes on Him shall by no means be put to shame.”a
7This preciousness, then, is for you who believe; but to those who are disobedient, “The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief corner-stone,”a
8and “A stone of stumbling and a rock that makes for falling,”a who stumble because they are disobedientb to the Word, to which they also were appointed. 1 PETER 2:1-8 Institute for Scripture Research – ISR
1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,
2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,
5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.
7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,
8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed. 1 PETER 2:1-8 King James Version - KJV
1 Wherefore, laying aside all maliciousness, and all guile, and dissimulation, and envy, and all evil speaking,
2 As newborn babes desire that sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby,
3 Because ye have tasted that the Lord is bountiful.
4 To whom coming as unto a living stone, disallowed of men, but chosen of God and precious,
5 Ye also as lively stones, be made a spiritual house, an holy Priesthood to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Wherefore also it is contained in the Scripture, Behold, I put in Zion a chief cornerstone, elect and precious, and he that believeth therein, shall not be ashamed.
7 Unto you therefore which believe, it is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,
8 And a stone to stumble at, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient, unto the which thing they were even ordained. 1 PETER 2:1-8 Geneva Bible 1599 – GNV
May Yah bless and keep you ALL safely abiding under the Shadows of His Mighty Wings. If you have not yet repented, I ask that you repent immediately. Turn to our Heavenly Father through His Beloved Son Yahusha Messiah (Jesus Christ). Please consider doing this immediately, for as we know the world is soon coming to a close. It is during this time that we will need Yah's full divine protection for what is to be unveiled. I believe that it was through obedience that Noah had such great faith; this in essence was what saved him and his family from the flood. As a follower of the Holy Messiah (born again Believer; a former Roman Catholic of 46+ years) there is so much to gain in doing so. My soul is richly blessed by the gems of truth revealed to me by my beloved Heavenly Father, Abba, and I have no regrets repenting of my past ways. Blessings! ~ Judy Velez
1Blessed is he who considers the poor; יהוה does deliver him in a day of evil.
2יהוה does guard him and keep him alive; He is blessed on the earth, And You do not hand him over To the desire of his enemies.
3יהוה sustains him on his sickbed; In his weakness on his bed You bring a change.
4As for me, I said, “O יהוה, show me favour; Heal me, for I have sinned against You.”
5My enemies speak evil of me, “When he dies his name shall perish.”
6And when one comes to visit, he speaks falsely; His heart gathers wickedness to itself; He goes out, he speaks of it.
7All who hate me whisper together against me; They plot evil to me, saying,
8“A matter of Beliya‛al is poured out on him, That when he lies down, he would not rise again.”
9Even my own friend in whom I trusted, who ate my bread, Has lifted up his heel against me.
10But You, יהוה, show me favour and raise me up, And let me repay them.
11By this I know that You did delight in me, Because my enemy does not shout for joy over me.
12And I, You uphold me in my integrity, And set me before Your face forever.
13Blessed be יהוה Elohim of Yisra’ĕl From everlasting to everlasting! Amĕn and Amĕn. PSALM 41 Institute for Scripture Research – ISR
Y'va-re-che-cha Yahuah V'yish-mire-cha. Ya'er Yahuah panav elei-cha vihu-necha. Yi-sah Yahuah panav elei-cha, V'ya-sem l'cha shalom!
May Abba Yahuah Bless you and guard you. May the light of EL Shaddai shine upon you, and may Abba Yahuah be gracious to you. May the presence of Elohim be with you and give you peace! - Judy
