Daily Reflection - 21 October - Ruth 1:16-22

16But Ruth said, “Do not urge me to leave you, or to go back from following after you. For wherever you go, I go; and wherever you stop over, I stop over. Your people is my people, and your Elohim is my Elohima.

17“Where you die, I die, and there I shall be buried. יהוה do so to me, and more also – for death itself parts you and me.”

18And when she saw that she was strengthening herself to go with her, she ceased to speak to her.

19And both of them went until they came to Bĕyth Leḥem. And it came to be, when they had come to Bĕyth Leḥem, that all the city was moved because of them, and they said, “Is this Na‛omi?”

20And she said to them, “Do not call me Na‛omi, call me Mara, for the Almighty has dealt very bitterly with me.

21“I went out filled, and יהוה has brought me back empty. Why do you call me Na‛omi, since יהוה has witnessed against me, and the Almighty has done evil to me?”

22Thus Na‛omi returned, and Ruth the Mo’aḇitess her daughter-in-law with her, who returned from the fields of Mo’aḇ, and they came to Bĕyth Leḥem at the beginning of barley harvest. RUTH 1:16-22 Institute for Scripture Research – ISR

16 And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:

17 Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the Lord do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me.

18 When she saw that she was stedfastly minded to go with her, then she left speaking unto her.

19 So they two went until they came to Bethlehem. And it came to pass, when they were come to Bethlehem, that all the city was moved about them, and they said, Is this Naomi?

20 And she said unto them, Call me not Naomi, call me Mara: for the Almighty hath dealt very bitterly with me.

21 I went out full and the Lord hath brought me home again empty: why then call ye me Naomi, seeing the Lord hath testified against me, and the Almighty hath afflicted me?

22 So Naomi returned, and Ruth the Moabitess, her daughter in law, with her, which returned out of the country of Moab: and they came to Bethlehem in the beginning of barley harvest. RUTH 1:16-22 King James Version - KJV

21 I went out full, and the Lord hath caused me to return empty: why call ye me Naomi, seeing the Lord hath humbled me, and the Almighty hath brought me unto adversity?

May Yah bless and keep you ALL safely abiding under the Shadows of His Mighty Wings. If you have not yet repented, I ask that you repent immediately. Turn to our Heavenly Father through His Beloved Son Yahusha Messiah (Jesus Christ). Please consider doing this immediately, for as we know the world is soon coming to a close. It is during this time that we will need Yah's full divine protection for what is to be unveiled. I believe that it was through obedience that Noah had such great faith; this in essence was what saved him and his family from the flood. As a follower of the Holy Messiah (born again Believer; a former Roman Catholic of 46+ years) there is so much to gain in doing so. THE PSALMS

1Blessed be יהוה my Rock, Who is teaching my hands for fighting, My fingers for battle;

2My kindness and my stronghold, My tower and my deliverer, My shield, and in whom I take refuge, Who is subduing peoples under me.

3יהוה, what is man, that You should know him? Son of man, that You should think of him?

4Man is like a breath, His days like a passing shadow.

5Incline Your heavens, O יהוה, and come down; Touch the mountains that they smoke.

6Send forth lightning and scatter them, Send forth Your arrows and confuse them.

7Send forth Your hand from above; Rescue me and deliver me out of great waters, From the hand of foreigners,

8Whose mouth has spoken falsehood, And whose right hand is a right hand of lies.

9O Elohim, a new song I sing to You; On a harp of ten strings I sing praises to You,

10Who gives deliverance to sovereigns, Who rescues Dawiḏ His servant From the evil sword.

11Rescue me and deliver me from the hand of foreigners, Whose mouth has spoken falsehood, And whose right hand is a right hand of lies;

12Because our sons are like plants Grown up in their youth; Our daughters like hewn stones, Polished, like a palace building;

13Let our storehouses be filled, Supplying all kinds; Let our sheep bring forth thousands And ten thousands in our fields;

14Our cattle well-laden; No breaking in, no going out; And no crying in our streets.
