1The first account I made, O Theophilos, of all that יהושע began both to do and to teach,
2until the day when He was taken up, after giving instructions through the Set-apart Spirit to the emissaries whom He had chosen,
3to whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them for forty days, speaking concerning the reign of Elohim.
4And meeting with them, He commanded them not to leave Yerushalayim, but to wait for the Promise of the Father,a “which you have heard from Me –
5because Yoḥanan truly immersed in water, but you shall be immersed in the Set-apart Spirit not many days from now.” ACTS 1:1-5 Institute for Scripture Research – ISR
1 The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,
2 Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:
3 To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:
4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.
5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. ACTS 1:1-5 King James Version - KJV
1 I have made the [a]former treatise, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began to [b]do and teach,
2 Until the day that he was taken up, after that he through the holy Ghost, had given commandments unto the Apostles, whom he had chosen:
3 [c]To whom also he presented himself alive after that he had suffered, by many [d]infallible tokens, being seen of them by the space of forty days, and speaking of those things which appertained to the kingdom of God.
4 And when he had [e]gathered them together, he commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, which said he, ye have heard of me.
5 For John indeed baptized with water, but ye shall be baptized [f]with the holy Ghost within these few days. ACTS 1:1-5 Geneva Bible 1599 – GNV
May Yah bless and keep you ALL safely abiding under the Shadows of His Mighty Wings. If you have not yet repented, I ask that you repent immediately. Turn to our Heavenly Father through His Beloved Son Yahushua Ha Mashiach (Jesus Christ). Please consider doing this immediately, for as we know the world is soon coming to a close. It is during this time that we will need Yah's full divine protection for what is to be unveiled. I believe that it was through obedience that Noah had such great faith; this in essence was what saved him and his family from the flood. As a follower of the Holy Messiah (born again Believer; a former Roman Catholic of 46+ years) there is so much to gain in doing so. My soul is richly blessed by the gems of truth revealed to me by my beloved Heavenly Father, Abba, and I have no regrets repenting of my past ways. Blessings! ~ Judy Velez
1Why do You stand afar off, O יהוה, hiding in times of distress?
2In arrogance the wrongdoer hotly pursues the poor; They are caught by the schemes which they devised.
3For the wrongdoer boasted of his cravings; And the greedy one cursed and despised יהוה.
4In the pride of his face The wrongdoer does not seek Him, In all his thoughts there is no Elohim!
5His ways are always prosperous! Your right-rulings are on high, out of his sight! He snorts at all his adversaries!
6He has said in his heart, “I shall not be moved; From generation to generation, never be in evil!”
7His mouth is filled with cursing and deceit and oppression; Under his tongue is trouble and wickedness.
8He sits in the hiding places of the villages; In the secret places he murders the innocent; His eyes are on the lookout for the helpless.
9He lies in wait in a secret place, as a lion in his den; He lies in wait to catch the poor; He catches the poor, drawing him into his net.
10And he crouches, he lies low, And the helpless fall under his strength.
11He has said in his heart, “Ěl has forgotten, He has hidden His face, He shall never see.”
12Arise, O יהוה! O Ěl, lift up Your hand! Do not forget the lowly ones.
13Why do the wrong scorn Elohim? He has said in his heart, “It is not required.”
14You have seen it, for You observe trouble and grief, To repay with Your hand. The poor commits himself to You; You are the helper of the fatherless.
15Break the arm of the wrong one and the evil one; Search out his wrongness that would not be found out.
16יהוה is Sovereign forever and ever; The gentiles shall perish from His land.
17יהוה, You have heard the desire of the lowly ones; You prepare their heart; You incline Your ear,
18To defend the fatherless and the downtrodden; So that man who is of the earth no longer oppresses! PSALM 10 Institute for Scripture Research – ISR
Y'va-re-che-cha Yahuah V'yish-mire-cha. Ya'er Yahuah panav elei-cha vihu-necha. Yi-sah Yahuah panav elei-cha, V'ya-sem l'cha shalom!
May Abba Yahuah Bless you and guard you. May the light of EL Shaddai shine upon you, and may Abba Yahuah be gracious to you. May the presence of Elohim be with you and give you peace! - Judy
