1For you yourselves know, brothers, that our coming to you was not in vain.
2But having suffered before and having been mistreated at Philippi, as you know, we were bold in our Elohim to speak to you the Good News of Elohim in much struggle.
3For the appeal we make does not come from delusion, nor from uncleanness, nor from deceit.
4But as we have been approved by Elohim to be entrusted with the Good News, so we speak, not as pleasing men, but Elohim who proves our hearts.
5For we never came with a word of flattery, as you know, nor with a cloak for greed – Elohim is witness –
6nor were we looking for praise from men, not from you nor from others, though we could have been a burden to you, as emissaries of Messiah. 1 THESSALONIANS 2:1-6 Institute for Scripture Research – ISR
For yourselves, brethren, know our entrance in unto you, that it was not in vain:
2 But even after that we had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated, as ye know, at Philippi, we were bold in our God to speak unto you the gospel of God with much contention.
3 For our exhortation was not of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile:
4 But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.
5 For neither at any time used we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloke of covetousness; God is witness:
6 Nor of men sought we glory, neither of you, nor yet of others, when we might have been burdensome, as the apostles of Christ. 1 THESSALONIANS 2:1-6 King James Version - KJV
1 For ye yourselves know, brethren, that our entrance in unto you was not in vain,
2 But even after that we had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated at Philippi, (as ye know) we were bold in our God, to speak unto you the Gospel of God, with much striving.
3 For our exhortation was not by deceit, nor by uncleanness, nor by guile.
4 But as we were allowed of God, that the Gospel should be committed unto us, so we speak, not as they that please men, but God, which approveth our hearts:
5 Neither yet did we ever use flattering words, as ye know, nor colored covetousness, God is record.
6 Neither sought we praise of men, neither of you, nor of others, when we might have been chargeable, as the Apostles of Christ.1 THESSALONIANS 2:1-6 Geneva Bible 1599 – GNV
May Yah bless and keep you ALL safely abiding under the Shadows of His Mighty Wings. If you have not yet repented, I ask that you repent immediately. Turn to our Heavenly Father through His Beloved Son Yahusha Messiah (Jesus Christ). Please consider doing this immediately, for as we know the world is soon coming to a close. It is during this time that we will need Yah's full divine protection for what is to be unveiled. I believe that it was through obedience that Noah had such great faith; this in essence was what saved him and his family from the flood. As a follower of the Holy Messiah (born again Believer; a former Roman Catholic of 46+ years) there is so much to gain in doing so. My soul is richly blessed by the gems of truth revealed to me by my beloved Heavenly Father, Abba, and I have no regrets repenting of my past ways. Blessings! ~ Judy Velez
Come, bless יהוה, All you servants of יהוה, Who are standing in the House of יהוה by night!
2Lift up your hands in the set-apart place, And bless יהוה.
3יהוה, Maker of the heavens and earth, Does bless you from Tsiyon! PSALM 134 Institute for Scripture Research – ISR
Y'va-re-che-cha Yahuah V'yish-mire-cha. Ya'er Yahuah panav elei-cha vihu-necha. Yi-sah Yahuah panav elei-cha, V'ya-sem l'cha shalom!
May Abba Yahuah Bless you and guard you. May the light of EL Shaddai shine upon you, and may Abba Yahuah be gracious to you. May the presence of Elohim be with you and give you peace! - Judy
