Daily Reflection - 15 July - Zephaniah 1:7-12

7Hush! in the presence of the Master יהוה. For the day of יהוה is near, for יהוה has prepared a slaughter, He has set apart His invited ones.

8“And it shall be, in the day of the slaughter of יהוה, that I shall punish the rulers and the sons of the sovereign, and all such as are clad in foreign garments.

9“And I shall punish on that day all who leap over the threshold, who fill their masters’ houses with violence and deceit.

10“And on that day there shall be,” declares יהוה, “the sound of a cry from the Fish Gate, and of a howling from the Second Quarter, and of a great crashing from the hills.

11“Howl, you inhabitants of Maḵtĕsh, for all the merchant people shall be silenced, all those weighing out silver shall be cut off.

12“And at that time it shall be, that I search Yerushalayim with lamps and punish the men who are settled on their dregs, who say in their heart, ‘יהוה does no good, nor does He evil.’ ZEPHANIAH 1:7-12 Institute for Scripture Research – ISR

7 Hold thy peace at the presence of the Lord God: for the day of the Lord is at hand: for the Lord hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid his guests.

8 And it shall come to pass in the day of the Lord's sacrifice, that I will punish the princes, and the king's children, and all such as are clothed with strange apparel.

9 In the same day also will I punish all those that leap on the threshold, which fill their masters' houses with violence and deceit.

10 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord, that there shall be the noise of a cry from the fish gate, and an howling from the second, and a great crashing from the hills.

11 Howl, ye inhabitants of Maktesh, for all the merchant people are cut down; all they that bear silver are cut off.

12 And it shall come to pass at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with candles, and punish the men that are settled on their lees: that say in their heart, The Lord will not do good, neither will he do evil. ZEPHANIAH 1:7-12 King James Version - KJV

8 And it shall be in the day of the Lord’s sacrifice, that I will visit the princes and the king’s children, and all such as are clothed with strange apparel.

9 In the same day also will I visit all those that dance upon the threshold so proudly, which fill their masters’ houses by cruelty and deceit.

10 And in that day, saith the Lord, there shall be a noise, and cry from the fish gate, and an howling from the second gate, and a great destruction from the hills.

11 Howl ye inhabitants of the low place: for the company of the merchants is destroyed: all they that bear silver, are cut off.

12 And at that time will I search Jerusalem with lights, and visit the men that are frozen in their dregs, and say in their hearts, The Lord will neither do good nor do evil. ZEPHANIAH 1:7-12 Geneva Bible 1599 – GNV

May Yah bless and keep you ALL safely abiding under the Shadows of His Mighty Wings. If you have not yet repented, I ask that you repent immediately. Turn to our Heavenly Father through His Beloved Son Yahusha Messiah (Jesus Christ). Please consider doing this immediately, for as we know the world is soon coming to a close. It is during this time that we will need Yah's full divine protection for what is to be unveiled. I believe that it was through obedience that Noah had such great faith; this in essence was what saved him and his family from the flood. As a follower of the Holy Messiah (born again Believer; a former Roman Catholic of 46+ years) there is so much to gain in doing so. My soul is richly blessed by the gems of truth revealed to me by my beloved Heavenly Father, Abba, and I have no regrets repenting of my past ways. Blessings! ~ Judy Velez

THE PSALMS

1Elohim is our refuge and strength, A help in distress, soon found.

2Therefore we do not fear, Though the earth reels And mountains topple into the heart of the seas.

3Let its waters rage, foam; Let mountains shake with its swelling. Selah.

4A river whose streams Make glad the city of Elohim, The set-apart dwelling of the Most High.

5Elohim is in her midst, she does not topple; Elohim does help her when morning turns.

6The gentiles shall rage, Reigns shall topple; He shall give forth His voice, The earth melts.

7יהוה of hosts is with us; The Elohim of Ya‛aqoḇ is our refuge. Selah.

8Come, see the works of יהוה, The ruins He has wrought on the earth,

9Causing all fighting to cease, Unto the end of the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; He burns the chariot with fire.

10Be still, and know that I am Elohim; I am exalted among nations, I am exalted in the earth!
