Daily Reflection - 18 August - 2 Chronicles 1:7-12

7That night Elohim appeared to Shelomoh, and said to him, “Ask what should I give you!”
8And Shelomoh said to Elohim, “You have shown great kindness to Dawiḏ my father, and have made me sovereign in his place.
9“Now, יהוה Elohim, let Your promise to Dawiḏ my father stand fast, for You have set me up to reign over a people as numerous as the dust of the earth.
10“Now give me wisdom and knowledge, so that I go out and come in before this people. For who is able to rightly rule this great people of Yours?”
11And Elohim said to Shelomoh, “Because this was in your heart, and you have not asked riches or wealth or esteem or the life of your enemies, nor have you asked long life, but have asked wisdom and knowledge for yourself, so as to rightly rule My people over whom I have set you up to reign,
12wisdom and knowledge are given to you. And riches and wealth and esteem I also give you, such as none of the sovereigns have had who have been before you, nor any after you have.” 2 CHRONICLES 1:7-12 Institute for Scripture Research – ISR
7 In that night did God appear unto Solomon, and said unto him, Ask what I shall give thee.
8 And Solomon said unto God, Thou hast shewed great mercy unto David my father, and hast made me to reign in his stead.
9 Now, O Lord God, let thy promise unto David my father be established: for thou hast made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude.
10 Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people: for who can judge this thy people, that is so great?
11 And God said to Solomon, Because this was in thine heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honour, nor the life of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked long life; but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king:
12 Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee; and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honour, such as none of the kings have had that have been before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like. 2 CHRONICLES 1:7-12 King James Version - KJV

11 And God said to Solomon, Because this was in thine heart, and thou hast not asked riches, treasures nor honor, nor the lives of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked long life, but hast asked for thee wisdom and knowledge, that thou mightest judge my people, over whom I have made thee King,
12 Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee, and I will give thee riches and treasures and honor, so that there hath not been the like among the kings which were before thee, neither after thee shall there be the like. 2 CHRONICLES 1:7-12 Geneva Bible 1599 – GNV
May Yah bless and keep you ALL safely abiding under the Shadows of His Mighty Wings. If you have not yet repented, I ask that you repent immediately. Turn to our Heavenly Father through His Beloved Son Yahusha Messiah (Jesus Christ). Please consider doing this immediately, for as we know the world is soon coming to a close. It is during this time that we will need Yah's full divine protection for what is to be unveiled. I believe that it was through obedience that Noah had such great faith; this in essence was what saved him and his family from the flood. As a follower of the Holy Messiah (born again Believer; a former Roman Catholic of 46+ years) there is so much to gain in doing so. My soul is richly blessed by the gems of truth revealed to me by my beloved Heavenly Father, Abba, and I have no regrets repenting of my past ways. Blessings! ~ Judy Velez
THE PSALMS
1Give ear, O Shepherd of Yisra’ĕl, Who lead Yosĕph like a flock; Who dwell between the keruḇim, shine forth!
2Before Ephrayim, Binyamin, and Menashsheh, Stir up Your might, And come and save us!
3Cause us to turn back, O Elohim, And cause Your face to shine, That we might be saved!
4O יהוה Elohim of hosts, How long shall You be wroth Against the prayer of Your people?
5You have caused them to eat the bread of tears, And have caused them to drink With tears, a third time.
6You have made us a strife to our neighbours, And our enemies laugh among themselves.
7Turn us back, O Elohim of hosts, And cause Your face to shine, That we might be saved!
8You brought a vine out of Mitsrayim; You drove out the nations, and planted it.
9You cleared a place for it, And caused it to take deep root, And it filled the land.
10Hills were covered with its shadow, And the mighty cedars with its twigs.
11She spread her branches to the Sea, And her shoots to the River.
12Why have You broken down her hedges, So that every passer-by plucked her fruit?
13The boar out of the forest ravages it, And the wild beast of the field devours it.
14Return, we beg You, O Elohim of hosts; Look down from heaven, and see, And visit this vine,
15And the stock which Your right hand has planted, And the Son whom You made strong for Yourself.
16It is burned with fire, it is cut down; They perish at the rebuke of Your face.
17Let Your hand be upon the One at Your right hand, Upon the Son of Aḏam whom You made strong for Yourself,
18And we shall not backslide from You. Revive us, and let us call upon Your Name.
19Turn us back, O יהוה Elohim of hosts, And cause Your face to shine, That we might be saved! PSALM 80 Institute for Scripture Research – ISR
